Smoke Alarm Install & Test
Smoke Alarms Save Lives
Most people don’t have enough smoke alarms. Law requires that a hard wired smoke alarm be fitted per bedroom, or in an a-joining hallway protecting those bedrooms, before your home be sold or placed into the rental market.
Installing smoke alarms professionally is fast and inexpensive, and will give you peace of mind knowing your family is protected.
Why have smoke alarms installed professionally?
Smoke alarms must be hardwired, and interconnected if there are more then one. A safety certificate must be supplied by a qualified electrician.
Hard wired smoke alarms are permanently connected into the lighting circuit, making them much more reliable then the traditional battery operated alarms.
From 1 May 2014, the BCA requires the interconnection of smoke alarms where more than one alarm is required to be installed.
